02 · About Epicura
Epicura puts on runs through the vineyards that end at a table with the people who make the wine.
The best days start with a run and end at a table. Most people keep the two apart: the workout in the morning, the meal at night that feels like a concession. We don’t. A hard morning in the vineyards and a long afternoon with friends are one day, and neither one needs an excuse.
We run to see a place, not only to cross it. Through the rows, past the people who work them, toward a table set by the people who make the wine. We keep it simple. Good bread, good wine, good company, and nothing that needs a vocabulary. Exceptional does not have to mean exclusive.
We arrive as guests. The vineyards, trails and towns we run through belong to the people who work them, and we leave them as we found them. You don’t need to be fast. You don’t need to know wine. Curiosity is enough.
A long run and a long lunch.

Epicura Run – Napa Valley is a half marathon that ends at a table. On Saturday, May 8, 2027, a field capped at 500 runners covers 13.1 miles of compacted gravel and private estate roads, starting at Quintessa and finishing in Yountville. Waiting there is Epicura Village: a tasting from every winery on the course, food from local kitchens, and an afternoon nobody is in a hurry to leave. The first edition drew 257 runners from 79 cities and 14 states. Epicura was founded by Tiffany and Guillaume Eicholz, Napa Valley residents who work in wine and run long.

Three lockups, each in SVG and PNG. Reach for the SVG first — it stays sharp at any size. Use a PNG only where vector isn’t accepted. These are the only approved versions; please don’t rebuild the mark from anything else.
Every lockup carries the ™, which is part of the artwork and shouldn’t be removed. Keep clear space around the mark equal to half the height of the wing, don’t recolor it, and don’t set the horizontal lockup below 130 px wide.

Winery and business partners
“We saw approximately 60–70 people over Saturday and Sunday who were connected to the race, and more than half were runners. We have already started brainstorming ideas for next year.”
“The Cliff Lede team—both pouring and running—had a wonderful experience. We would love to participate next year, create team shirts for employees and club members, and potentially incorporate a winery run-through.”
“It was the best race I’ve done. I can’t wait to hear what you will be doing on May 8, 2027.”
“Fitness, food, wine, family and community are the blessings we enjoy daily. We look forward to next year’s race.”
